Fourth Row: Gustafson, Silvi, Thomas, Huseby, Chase, Forsline, Haavisto, Lindberg. ob CV' On September 7, we began our Sophomore year. We were happy to find mr. Urick as our homeroom teacher and it was plain to see he liked us too. At our first class meeting we elected Kay president, Janet vice president, Carol secretary-treasurer, and George as G.O. representative. Chucky is our Red Cross representative. We were represented on the football team this year by Darrell, Jerry, Bob T., and Marty. Pat, Kathy, and Kay were reporters on the newspaper staff and did a very good job. Marcia, Janet, Kathy, Kay, Pat, Chucky, and Christine joined F.T.A. They also worked in the library. A few of the boys joined F.F.A. They were Bob T., Claire, Leslie, Dennis, and Curtiss. Claire and Dennis took part in the Donkey basketball game between the Cook and Alango M.F.A. teams. Curtiss and Kay were our band members when school started this fall, but as the year progressed, Carol, Janet, and Christine joined. Our Sophomore chorus members were Carol, Janet, Kathy, Pat, Chucky, Kay, Christine, Curtiss, Leslie, George, and Marty. Chucky, Christine, Pat, kathy, Kay, participated in speech. when we returned to school after the Thanks iving htiloays, we were dis- appointed to find we nad been given the band hall as our homeroom. It may have been a bit drafty at times, but as time passed we woxldn't have traded our UShackn for anything. George Jerry, Darrell, Curtiss, and Jackie were our basketball stars thw year and Chucky was one of the cheerleaders. At the grade school Christmas party, harty played Santa Claus. Danny, Marty, bob R., and Arnie took Driver's Training during the first semester. All of them passed and received their driver's licenses. Janet, hathy, hay, Hope, Penny, Pat, Darrell, Leslie, Jack, and Bob G., took it was ing the last semester. We will not soon forget our Jophomore year, our teachers, nThe Kingdom of Heavenn, and countless other memories. we hope next year will be as inter- esting. Q1 O Q7 . J'
