Rumjs mm sr The monotony, difficulty, and frustration of dai- ly school life often drive each of us to the point of feeling indifference or even dislike toward our administrators, the subjects we must learn, and the teachers who teach them. Very seldom does one educator come along that forces us to change these views and feelings of indifference toward daily school life and its components. True the total boredom with school is not a healthy attitude, and any one person who is capa- ble of dispelling that feeling in students is indeed a very special person. Mrs. Rubye Fielder is just such a person. She has definitely won the overwhelming respect of the student body. Considering Mrs. Fielder’s ac- complishments at Cook High School, we can only say: “Excellent, Mrs. Fielder, excellent.” 16 A eok ai eusejc ZAMM V CKOSBV 19 HOMseoMJM ZJM WOMACK Am CHAPMAN ‘ -V l fi A ft MOMSCOMJM 1984 MJSS CMS HOD V WMKSK ZANJECA JACKSON RHONDA PURVJS JENNJ WJCKERSON PENNV McDANJEC KRJSZV HARNAQE KAZHV ZAMCOR U8CKM HOCZ SENA HANSEN ANQECA JONES JUCJE OCJVER AMBER JACKSON SHEJCA ffROOMS MECJSSA PACMER ANNA MARJE CARZER joy JACKSON CA ZHER JN PSEmSR NANEZZE WHJZE CANA REED JODM IVACKER KECCV BREEDEN AUDRSV 70CDS ZABJZHA DURR CVNZHJA COVEZZ 25 ZOP ZSy HOyOK 0KADUA ZSS Debbie Kemp. the moment we’re born Is when we start to die And the first time that we say hello Begins our last goodbye Specialness is not those lunch lines, tardy bells (when you’re still in the hall), homework, final exams, forgetting your locker key, or for that much, forgetting where your locker is! Specialness is not those irritable teachers (even though you’re the one who stayed up all night), or having to be called to Coach Willis’s office. Specialness is not those boring classes, research papers, substitute teachers, rainy Monday mornings, report cards, thirsting to death because you’re stranded in the room, overdue library books, and checking in when you could be checking out. All that — special? Oh yes! They are not so bad that as we look back on them in later years, we can say “Those were the most special years ever Many changes brought a difference to the year, as many things re- mained the same. Each year will continue to take Cook High into the future yet the changes won’t ever remove the specialness that is Cook High School. 188 ADS 191 “The Go-Ahead People Crops — Livestock — Equipment And General All Purpose Loans Made From 1 To 7 Years Phone: 896-2312 Adel, GA 31620 Sure we re an old bank. Congratulations Seniors From The Annual Staff you are now holding a unique mixture of headaches and joys, traumas and triumphs. Many long, grueling hours of work and lots of care have been carefully combined to make the 19S4 ACOKM more than just another yearbook to stick on a dusty shelf. Zhis annual is a successful attempt to cover more of the special, integral aspects of a student’s life. We were in it together, yet individuality made us shine. Mere is Cook Migh grown and preserved. Mow, look through these pages and remember just how special it really was. i UW C
