No Two Are Quiie Alike We all learned in biology class that it is impossible for two people to be exactly the same. Just think what our world would be like if we all looked, acted, and thought the same way. Sometimes it's not so easy to be an individual. It takes a great deal of courage to come to school dressed in a bath robe and shower cap or to conduct an assembly or to be different from the crowd. These are just a few of the many ways we have of expressing our individuality at Cook High. We all come from different backgrounds and have different standards, we all have been used as ingredients in the giant melting pot that makes up the student body at Cook High. Our teachers have played an important role in developing our individual characters, and they have molded many of us into well-rounded individuals who are not afraid to think for ourselves and make our own decisions about our lives. Our country needs new leaders for the future, and the only way we can be leaders is to be able to think, act, and be a TRUE individual.

 The Long Hours Spent Working Toward Perfection All of our lives, people have told us to work hard and we will be rewarded in the end. Apparently Cook High students live by that idea, whether it is on the playing field or in the classroom. The important thing is that we try to make good use of our many talents and are willing to do the best we can to uphold Cook High's name. Although we may not be STATE CHAMPS or all members of WHO'S WHO, we can be satisfied in knowing that we did our best, and that's all anyone can ask of us. 7
