To each a magazine has its own particular meaning. To some, a magazine may be the source of the latest fashions or the newest look in sports cars. To others, it may be a reference for the most recent developments in science. VVe have all learned from magazines, and We have all enjoyed leisure time through them. Thus, the members of the 1959 Coniad Staff have chosen magazines as an appropriate theme for our yearbook. 4

DEDICATION We, the Class of 1959, proudly dedicate our Coniad to Mr. Charles Arbor, Head of the Social Studies Department here at Cony and one of our senior class advisors. During our four years at Cony, Mr. Arbor has enlivened the halls of this school with his timely comments, his jokes about his loving Wife, and his friendly smile. Another of his many contributions to the school is his position as coach of the football team and basketball team. In this capacity he has made each of the boys feel right at home and has given the encouragement so badly needed. As We leave Cony this year and go our separate Ways, We will remember Mr. Arbor and all his kindnesses. His favorite pastime
