FOREWORD An annual which will be second to none-this has been the aim of the 1923 Calumet Staff. Welcom- ing suggestions, and aspiring to high ideals, We have endeavored to maintain the excellence of the past. The happenings of this memorable year we have tried to tabulate as lasting reminiscences. Above all, We have aimed to make this volume neat and attractive. If this book is received in the same Cony spirit with which the lines have been interwoven, We feel that the result Will be grati- fying.
