4 Soph omores Worli Hard for a Successful Year 1977-78 was a great year for the Sophomore class. We had a lot of fun and also accomplished much. . Remember the fun we had Spirit Week? Painting banners all week long . . . that big roll of paper will last forever!! Painting Stamey's Volkswagen like a tiger . . . dressing up fifties style and like tigers . . . and yelling until our voices were gone . . . we really showed spirit!! It was nice not to be little freshmen anymore. and it was even nice not to have to walk to the Annex every day, especially on days that it rained. Remember the many hours and hard work during Homecoming? We almost thought we'd never think of a slogan. All of it paid off when they announced THE SOPHOMORES WON THE FLOAT CONTEST!!,' We were happy!! And this year nothing broke down before the parade. Yes. the Sophomores had a lot of fun, but we could never have accomplished all that we did without everybody's cooperation. This year was a good year butjust wait until we're Juniors . . .
