French Club Has a Good Year The French Club is composed of a group of students who are interested in both the country of France and the language of French. Some of them are even going to France this summer. They started off W- 'e r if P- the year with a bake sale. There was plenty of food and it was a big success. Then, they had the annual Christmas party which consisted of delicious French food and good American music. They also had a special French guest from Myrtle Beach to come speak at a meeting. Its sponsor is Father Burke, who is very helpful and interested in the club. Their purpose is to better their skills in Latin and try to understand where today's English came from.
