Juniors TOP ROW: Helen Book, Thomass May, Mary Pancake, Byron Myers, Ioan Baker, SECOND ROW: Wayne Small, Wanda Book, Roger Welch, Mary Sue Orsbon, Lynn Rhoades, THIRD ROW: Carolyn Waltmire, Gene Helm, Beverlyanne McDaniel, Lowell Etzler, Shirley Gaskill, FOURTH ROW: Rodney Stemen, Shirley Frane, Ralph Schurrim, Shirley Purk, Paul Lare, FIFTH ROW: June I-Ioaglin, Rosanna Purk, Betty Sowers, Junior Class History of 1953 It was the year 1941 when we, the Junior Class, started on the road named Education, We were guided this first year by Miss Catherine Dean, In the fall of '42 we entered the second grade, This year we felt very important as we were permitted to do work which was sent to the fair, The next few years passed rapidly, we all grew some, but there was still little change in us, When we entered Junior High, things really seemed changed, In the eighth grade we were given the regular eighth grade tests in which we faired very well, Our Freslurian year really offered us challenges, First, that fine re- ception which the Sophomores so willingly gave to us, Secondly, we were faced with the problem of choosing our own subjects, In our Sophomore year we were confronted with many more problems, One was the task of making money, This year we have many things to look forward to, We want to give the Seniors a prom that will be remembered by all, Also we wish to get our foot- hold for our final year here in Convoy School, Our class sponsor this year is Mr, Fox,
