Class History of 1952 Our education was started with a class of 42. pupils with Miss Dean as our teacher. Though we can't remernber this day, no doubt we we re excited and filled with wonder. Miss Dean was very kind and we soon knew what was happening. So, we proceeded into the next grades with eagerness. We learned new subjects and experienced new adventures., We were kept busy by our teachers, Mrs. Norma Carey, Nfrs. Helen Smith, Mrs. Mary lvfeyers, Mrs. Rema Mohr, and Miss Jessie Driver. They prepared us for high school and we appreciated them. In the school year of 46 and 47, we entered Junior High. This was thrilling, but we had to work harder to keep up our grades. Our teachers were Mrs. Charlotte Stose, and Mr., Edwards, We had parties and many traveling adventures. Then we entered high school. We were welcomed with an exciting initiation. We had other parties also. Mr. Smith was our sponsor. Mr., Brown is our sponsor this year. We initiated the Freshmen in October. We have had no parties as yet., This is a great year for us and we are enjoying it. We are also looking forward to the next two years of high school. Class Historv of 1953 In our first year of school there were thirty -three pupils enrolled with Miss Catherine Dean as our teacher. During the second and third grade, we learned the different fundamentals of school with Mrs. Norma Carey and Mrs. Helen Smith teaching us. In the fourth grade, Mrs. Nlary Meyers was our teacher. The fourth, fifth, and sixth grades gave an operetta entitled Aunt Drusilla's Garden. ' Our fifth and sixth grade teachers were Mrs., Rema Mohr and Iviiss Jessie Driver. We entered Junior High with Mrs. Charlotte Stose as our sponsor. In the eighth grade, Mr., J. C, Edwards was our sponsor. In our State Tests, Ralph Schumm received first in the county with 189. There are twenty -four entering the Freshman Class of whom seventeen are of the original class. Our sponsor this year is Mr. Dwight Smith. Our first party was when the Sophomores entertained us at initiation. 17
