SENIORS OF NINETEEN FIFTY ONE Oh, listen all ye people while a story I relate, It had its start about the fall of nineteen thirty eight, For then a class of six year olds began their climb to fame, This year they finish up the job, I'll call them each by name, Throughout their twelve short years of school, they've had a lot of fun, This Jolly, happy Senlor class of nineteen fifty one Phil Howard is class President, He is a lucky guy, He's blonde, and quite intelligent, a twinkle in his eye To be an actor, we would guess, he wouldn't care a bit Yet in uHobgob1in House you know, he really made a hit We have sweet Phyllis Sowash, her pals all call her Phid And did she ever cut a classq You bet your life she did' Dave Rogers is so quiet that he scarcely makes a sound, And yet if tlere is work to do, he's usually around Now, Betty Lenon is a blonde that quite puts out your eye, She'll find a husband quick as wlnk, and never even try Tom Pearson's gay and popular as sure as you're alive, For his girl friends swarm about him Just like bees around They say that Darrell Carmack has a teaching aspiration, But it's possible he also glves the glrls consideration The wedding bells wlll soon ring out for pretty Margaret Oyler, But while Fred is in the army, there'll be no one here to spoil her Now, Suzanne Blake, that comely lass, keeps up with all that's new, She has attractions by the score, and Johnny thinks so, too the hive J R Hodson struts his stuff, and also plays the flute, He leads the cheering section, and he sings a lot, to boot Harold Berglan is our center, and he always pals with Don, Don always pals with Bergie, that you can depend upon Now these two atheletes, Tis rumored, have certain plans in mind To travel with the Big League Team and leave all cares behind Jim Larimore's decided what will be his real l1fe's mission, He longs to get a steady job just watching Television They say that Zenith Artherhults has energy and pluck, She'll make some man a splendid wife, We wish her lots of luck Thad Miller can't decide between two things he likes the most, To sing just like Al Jolson, or impersonate a ghost We have noticed that Paul Oden carries quite a worried look, As if he had a problem hard to solve by hook or crook, And recently, to bosom friends, he did his worry bring, He says that he is trylng to identify THE THING Our sinplns Prima Donna sweet is Vona Bridenthal he can reach a lot of hlph notes though she's not so very tall Leon Olinper is edltor of our newsy Porcupine, He takes his work in e rnest, and is doing very fine, But now and then a Freshman girl, and you know who I mean, will come alonv and slow him down, Her name is Movaline And The For The so, kind friends good traditions though our High tender memories , this is our list, We hone to carry on of our school long after we have gone, School days have sped on wings so very fleet, we bear shall be forever sweet By Mrs Ovid Doan e n Q - - , ' Q a J u .
