x ni 6' Standing with open arms . . i Yes, we were welcomed, and as Converse has watched her other children, she has watched over us through our years here. Like all new classes we were maybe afraid at Hrst. The greatest help in our adjustment was Miss Richards, who came to Converse as dean the year we cameas freshmen. From the first she has been our inspiring guide and understanding Converse sister. We were her fresh- men , and now we are her seniorsv. Our love and trust will always be hers. Converse has heard our laughter, and she has seen our tears. We've been happy, and we've made our mistakes. And here we have grown. A All of us have memories. Some are shared . . . those of the wonderful experiences and ral ood times of college life-and some are personal and distinct. But they all merge gene g into that love, and contribute to forming loyalty we have for our college. We are sad to leave our friends and our happy times here. Yet we realize that the college years for us are ending, and with the sad thoughts of separation, there's the new thought and sight of a future. Weive lived and learned here . . . we've learned to live here. Now we want to leave with a pledge in our hearts to live up to what we have received from Converse. And as we love her now . . . , We'll love her when our college days are done Officers BETTY ANNE WELCH, President EMMA JANE MTMS, First Vice-President DOTTIE WRIGHT, Second Vice-President BETTY CLOUD, Secretary ANNE PROTHBO, Treasurer 27
