At graduation we all grow nearer And all of our friends seem so much dearer And as we say our final good-by, One last embrace and one more cry, A “keep in touch” and a “promise I will” A “remember when” but better still, A place in my heart you’ll always stay. This is what’s said as we go our own way. Laura Rollins GRADUATION Commencement Exercises took place May 23 at 2:30 p.m. The speaker was Rev. Marshall Fry. Jeff Pohlamus and Kathy Wagner received the Lion’s Outstanding Student Awards. Student speeches were presented by Selinna Bartley, Kathy Wagner and Jeff Polhamus. The diplomas were presented by Bill Troyer and JoAnn Grant. 26 GR0UP9 29 STUDENT COUNCIL Front: Jackie Sullivan. Second Row L to R: Angie Miller, Gary Louiselle, Paula Foor. We would like to look back and express some sincere thanks. Thanks to our Advisor, Miss Jenny von der Embse, without whom this book wouldn’t have been possible. Also, thanks to all the teachers for their support. We feel our staff did an excellent job this year, working hard to create one of the best books yet. This book is very important to the students, especially Seniors, as it reflects our triumphs and failures, our friendships, our fears and all the love we’ve shared. WTe hope you enjoy this book as much as we enjoyed putting it together! 144 Melinda, Marie, Kathy
