This IS Just a note to keep you informed of the news arolmd town Yesterday I went to the Graduation ceremomes for the Class of 1978 Being 1n the old schoolhouse agam surely did brmg back the memories of our days at C H S and the kids with whom we went to school Speaking of our old classmates, have you heard the latest news about them? As you know the Class of '58 has some famous members Everyone has watched Ronald Morehead's TV show Sunday Varieties I read in TV Mirror that Ronnie hired Ed Sullivan just to do the commercials Two of the graduates became authors Goldie Gregg has written a novel sim 1lar to Peyton Place about life in Contmental and Jerry McCl1sh is busily writ Leon McDougle IS now sole owner of the Banana Club the fabulous night spot located at Rice Ohio Quite a few Conti graduates are employed at the Club The Cocobanana Chorus girls, mcluding Lou Randolph Norma Cass Bonnie Rayle Dianne Prowant and Sandra Moran are quite famous Tom Swicker has a good Job there working as a combination bouncer and doorman Bruce Stauffer and John Kesler are still feudmg over control of the farming land m this area At the last count each owned half of the acreage m Putnam County Soon after graduation wedding bells rang out for a good many of the girls Frances Crame Betty Moore Sue Tracy and Janet Homier became respectively Mrs Wilham Sroufe Mrs Ed Roddy Mrs Jerry Bowes and Mrs Darryl Sullivan Two of the girls are now sisters in law I am speaking of course of Linda Noon and Joan Dangler or should I say Mrs Gerald Dangler and Mrs Roland Howell Rumors have been buzzmg around town about the forthcoming marriage of Joyce Friend She divorced her 7th millionaire last month , . , . 7 ., ', 9 I n s 0 . . . ., , 0 . u 0 9 0 . . . . , . . . . - ing his 23-volume History of Putnam County. 7 . 9 . 9 ' , .9 u ' 1 . . . , . 0 , . o ' .
