Sharon Culbert and Kay Lentz are St1IIWOIk1Ug as nurses I1mag1ne Sharon w1ll con t1nue to do so for a Whlle longer, but Kay IS marr1ed now and has qu1te a lot of her hands w1th all her l1ttle Sharps and flats Qu1te a few of the g1rls turned out to be the best secretar1es m the country Sh1r1ey W1nk1e Peggy Worl1ne Sh1rley Thomas AIICC Tucker and M1r1am Moore are all workmg for well known bus1ness men Many of the students from that class have made qu1te a name for themselves s1nce they have graduated Kenny K1mble now plays h1S trumpet 1n Ray Anthony s Orchestra, Charley Rockhold 1S Star drummer 1n Bmlly May s Orchestra Jon Rockhold IS now a doctor and IS pract1c1ng at L1ma Delores Rayle became the f1rst women m1n1ster of Dupont and B111 Hom1er 15 under contract now 1n Hollywood I guess they needed some one to replace Rock Hudson rollmg 1n the dough There IS Eldon Henderson John I-hll Marv1n McDougle B111 Sharp Ike Myers, and Herb Wagner These guys are really smart cook1es Of course there IS th1s one guy who really th1nks he's got It made I-le tr1es to farm part of the t1me, tr1es to play the gu1tar part of the t1me tr1es to s1ng part of the t1me and tr1es to stay marrled part of the t1me One thmg I can say for that guy 15 that he really tr1es part of the t1me I guess I should know that guy I-hs name 1S Gerald Dangler or someth1ng l1ke that but doggone 1f I can place h1m It 1S hard to remember all forty one of them when you haven't seem them for a wlule Well I guess that just about does lt for th1s t1me, but you'll hear from me aga1n Just as soon as I have more to report So, unt1lLhen goodbye . , , , . , . y . . . . . , , . . , . The Class Prophecy I TA LKEE MUCHEE Th1s 15 Shanga1 Marg1e report1ng from Chlna It 15 May 5 1976 Many th1ngS have happened 1n these last twenty years and many changes have been made Not too many for me though I'm marr1ed now but I'm st1ll an old farm g1rl The only dlfference be between farms here and farms 1n Amer1ca 15 that we ra1se mulberry trees and s1lkworms on our farm 1nstead of corn and hogs MHTVIU always Sald he'd never amount to anyth1ng but a farmer I guess he meant It We l1ke lt here 1n Chlna though and I st1ll hear all the goss1p even though I l1ve far away from the rest of you Joan P1tson stops at my pagoda everyt1me she goes on one of her fore1gn country tr1ps and lets me IH on the latest That g1rl' l' She st1ll doesn't know what she wants She st1ll goes back to Oakwood every once 1n a wh1le though She was tell1ng me that her best fr1end Mrs F1ck1e the former MarC1a Schm1dt 1S very happy w1th her ten ch1ldren She 1S plann1ng to have three more I guess she thmks she has to keep up w1th her mother 1n law There are qu1te a few g1rls who have had the1r names changed SIHCS I last heard from them LOIS Hunt IS now Mrs Henry and they have a lovely fam1ly wluch 1ncludes two daughters two sons two Fords and four Thunderb1rds That's qu1te an ache1vement 1sn't lt Sandra Logan IS now Mrs De1tr1ck and seems to enjoy l1fe even though she does have to work as a ma1d once 1n a wh1le Juamta Mart1n IS now Mrs Strayer and IS content just be1ng a hOUS6W1fe and mother to her four ch1ldren 1ncludes ten boys and four g1rls You know f1ve vars1ty f1ve reserve, and four cheer leaders I Just don't know how they d1d lt John Moeller also marr1ed a former cheerleader I hear that he has dec1ded to make a career out of the Navy I d never thought It Toot Howell IS also marr1ed now He got h1tched to some blond out Dupont way He keeps h1mself qu1te busy w1th h1S farm1ng Selllng seed corn ra1s1ng p1geons and rear1ng ten ch1ldren Claud Kesler and h1S l1ttle ne1ghbor g1rl have been marr1ed qu1te a wh1le and seem be very happy on the1r SIX hundred acre farm It sounds as 1f everyone 15 marr1ed now however there are st1ll qu1te a few bachelors runn1ng loose Darwm Prowant, Don W1lser Kenny Kent and Leroy He1denescher st1ll haven't found the g1rl of the1r dreams All I can say 1S g1rls you better get'em wh1le the gett1ngs good Someth1ng that really surpr1sed me though IS the excellent housew1ves that class produced These g1rls Wanda Schwartzengraber Sharon Noon Rosemar1e B1ankeme1r Patty De1tr1Ck and Carolyn Spangler are all happ1ly marr1ed and l1ve down 1n Kentucky w1th the1r husbands and all the1r l1ttle stump Jumpers and r1dge runners N1ce go1ng, g1rls That class also prouduced qu1te a few great scholars Professor Tom MCK1bben 1S now teach1ng h1story at Notre Dame Mary Druyor 1S teach1ng Enghsh at Yale and Patty Louden IS head professor at Cloverdale I hear Coach Bud Moeller is happily married to a former cheerleader.
