amor Prophecy Having just returned from a rocketship tou: 1 the stratosph , I am just bursting with information for you concerning all of the people who graduated from dear old C. H. S. was back in 1953. Since things have changed so very much in the past twenty years, T am sure that everyone will e greatly Interested in some of the interesting and strange occupations and pastimes of the former graduates. To begin with my rocket shiD pilot was none other than Fred Howell and, of course, his charming wife was the stewandess on the ship. She was t he well-known Marjorie Okuley. While on the way to Pluto, we had to stop off several times to deliver some orders of fertilizer. It seems that Fred and Marjorie deliver Ihe stuff on the side to supolement the income. Speaking of stopping off to deliver fertilizer, one of the customers living on an unnamed planet was the former Wilma Troyer and her husband, Whitey Etter. They have developed one of the largest hog farms in the entire universe. It seems that they discovered the planet while cruising around in their space ship one day and are now wole owners. The first official stop on my journey was on the planet of Pluto. Probably most of you know that the president of the Plutonian government is none other than Duane Tucker. Looks like Duane put his Senior Class presidency experience to good use. While having lunch with President Tucker, I was very surprised to learn that Charlotte Brower is now called LuLa Rainbow since she had introduced some shocking color combinations to the universe. I got to see one of them while visiting on Pluto. It was a dress of purple lace over a skirt of one inch wide strips of char-truse, orange, red, and aqua. Quite the sensation of the planet. Charlotte attended the dinner in my honor wearing this gown and it reminded me of the old Drama Club plays back in 53 Among the officials of the planet attending the dinner were Albert Troyer, the minister of agriculture, and Ronnie Kruse, the minister of finance. Both are doing quite well and they tell me that Kruse has quite a hold on the finances of the planet. Also among the guests was Faye Hoover, that famous and feared gossip columnist for the Plutonian Platter. After the sixteenth course,pickled space birds, who should come flying in, only three and one half hours late, but Ann Etter. Of course she is now known as Mrs. Ann Thompson. She had trouble with one of the jets on her spacemobile. I later saw her spacemobile and I must say that somehow is resembled the old fish-wagon of Conti days. After the meal had been served, the entertainment began, you'll never guess who the master of ceremonies was. None other than Robert Boggs. He has developed into one of the most exciting personalities in the universe and it is said that all the eligible bacheloretts are wild about him. He is really quite the sensation. The famous ballet dancer, Natalie Ladd, entertained us for a bout two bourse She is certainly a wonderful dancer. The following day I was a guest In the home of and rs. Roger Skiver • Mrs. Skiver is the former Mllderd Mayes. They now have four little ones ana seem to be very happy. T hile I was there, Mrs. Leonard Collier dropoed In for a fev; minutes. It seems that Mary and Mildred are running a diaper laundry on the side. Their business is really quite good. Late that afternoon I took off for the planet Venus where the Romeo of the class, Gene Wolf, hangs out. He said that he chose this planet °or obvious reasons. He drives around in a little blue space ship and when it becomes necessary, Is quite successful in making the grand escape. From whom, did you say?????? Well, Pat Rockey and hundreds of others. I must say that he certainly is popular. From Venus, I traveled on to the planet, Jupiter where I spent a couple of days with Mr. and Mrs. Don McKibben and their five lovely daughters. Jenet J an is running a day nursery for mothers who work in the atomic automobile plants. While there I also visited with Butch Ford who owns the largest automobile plant in the universe. He told me that Ford was the big cheese on the planet Earth but he did him one better as he is now the big one of the universe. Nice going, don't you think? From Jupiter, I cruised over to Uranus to drop in on Mr. and Mrs. Tom Linhardt. They have one of the largest photography shoos I have ever seen. I had several shots taken while there. They told me that they are seriously considering opening another shop on the Earth sometime in the very near future. My next stop was Neptune, where I visited the bachelors club made up of Donald Williams, Kenny McKibben, and Keith Jones. They say that they are all confirmed bachelors but one or two of them still have eyes for certain beauties. One has (Continued)
