DISCIPLINARIAN Raymond N. Weaver Congratulations members of the class of 1965, upon the successful completion of your high school course. However, today's living insists you strive to continue with education. Whether you go to college, become a member of the armed forces or whether you go directly into industry, the knowledge and skills gained during your high school career should enable each one of you to continue your education in an intelligent, orderly manner. At no other time have young citizens been called upon to exert more confidence in themselves and their country's ideals than the present. May good fortune and success attend all your future efforts, and may each one of you receive a full measure of that happiness and peace of mind that comes as a result of sympathetic, gentle, and cooperative living with your fellowmen. Raymond N. Weaver, Jr. 9 Mrs. Margaret Bates Secretary to Superintendent Secretary of the School Board Mrs. Marjorie Campbell Secretary to Mr. Weaver

Superintendent of Schools I am very happy to bring to you, the class of 1965, a message of congratulations at such an important time of your life. We congratulate you upon your achievement which places you in the ranks of those who are the graduates of the American Secondary Schools. With the gradual evolution of the National and International social and economic pattern, you are confronted with the greatest challenge for service. Throughout the entire world all humanity is in need of a better understanding of love and human charity. So there comes to you the appeal to engage in a crusade to bring into being the idea of good will and understanding among our foreign neighbors as well as in our own United States. A crusade that will triumph over hatred and selfishness and set itself against nationalistic aspirations, which will arouse in all people the sincere spirit of universal solidarity, as a means for durable peace. As you go forth to do your part in shaping the destiny of the world, be resolute and courageous. Give the best you have to life and the world, and the best will come back to you. We extend our sincere wishes for a happy and useful life to you, the Class of 1965. Edward W. Oermann Superintendent of Schools 8
