No dual meets were scheduled forthe year, but Hill Gray took part in the Dis- trict I meet at Lipper Darby High where he took second place inthe javelinethrow and qualified for the State Track Meet at Penn State. Lewis Wolfe, William Gray, and David Speelhofier were absent when picture was taken. Although the Volleyball Team lost in its matches, the players showed marked improvement with each match, lnexperienee proved to he a decided handicap, lihe scores were: Central Bucks 15-5, 15-7, 15-85 Cheltenham 15-10, 15-0, 15-T3 and Upper Merion15-13, 15-12, 15-12,1l1ness prevented their entering the district tournament. Golf was introduced this year. Our inexperienced team members found the opposition insur- mountableg however, they improved with each match. Scores were:Spring-Ford14-1,10-5g Lipper Dublin 6-33 Conestoga 14-lg Pottstown 13-2, 9-65 and Plymouth-Whiternarsh 5-2.
