Ever since thot yeor there hos been on immense rivolry between Conroe ond McCullough. This yeor the gome wos on Fridoy, October 19. Even the roin could not drown Conroe's non-stop spirit. Conroe's spirit wos mognified both Thursdoy night ot the pep-rolly ot Inter- First Bonk, ond Fridoy morning's pep-rolly in the gym. Fridoy mornings pep-rolly wos not only speciol becouse the McCullough gome thot night, but D.J.'s from QOQ come to present us with o spirit trophy for winning teom of the week on their rodio stotion. At the pep-rolly the seniors won both spirit stick ond spirit choin. lt continued to roin throughout the doy but thot did not stop the gome thot night. The gome itself wos exciting with both sides of the stodium trying to motch eoch others spirit. Both teoms pioyed hord, but ot the end of the second quorter the score wos still OO. There wos no drill teom or pep-squod performonce during holf-time, but the bond pioyed brilliontly on the trock. Although these groups could not perform on the field their spirit showed through in the stonds. After holf-time the teoms entered the field ogoin with hopes of scoring in the third ond fourth quorters. McCullough mode o field gool in the third quorter moking the score O-3 for the rest of the gome. This mode McCullough the winners of this yeor's rivol gome. l've got him! l'm rolling!
