More Power To You That ' s right! This year ' s pep rallies were new and different; the changes weren ' t big, but they were noticeable. No more balloons or air horns; you had to rely on voice power! The pep rallies had their problems because there was more class competition than ever and one class went so far as to boycott one pep rally! But when the spirit of CHS showed, it was really powerful! Never had the competition for the spirit stick been more fierce. The Pledge of Alligence was ad- ded to pep rally tradition and it helped to boost the excitement. All of us shall always remember the sweat and the shouting that we poured into Conroe High School pep rallies, when we collected spirit for the Tigers and memories for THE TIMES OF OUR LIVES! Tine seniors show their spirit in wild beach garb Sophomores show they ' re number one at the pep rallies. Troy Tischendorf uses Preference by L ' Oreal. Laura Thomason, Stacy Akin, and Wendy Corry have fun at the pep rally. 16 -Pep Rally

The crowded parking So THIS is high school — hot pep rallies, crowded football games, homework, parking lot stampedes, etc. . . . Yes, this is what we all know and love as Conroe High. Our high school is led by Jay Legg and Carl Hudson who are the student body officers. All students stick together in getting across one point — We ' re from Conroe and we ' re proud of it. That includes the freshmen who are constantly perched up on the rail during pep rallies; the sophomores who still real- ly aren ' t accepted by the upperclassmen; the juniors who are finally fitting in; and the seniors who think they are ready to leave the high school scene. Altogether that makes a great student unified under the name of the Conroe Tigers. High School- 15
