Buying tickets for the weekend movie. Tiger Fans enjoying the Kashmere game at the Astrodome. Thank God it's Friday! The end of the week had finally arrived! Fridays brought a variety of feelings for students at CHS. Some anticipated big dates, parties, or other special events. During the football season students, as well as faculty and townspeople, prepared for the big game every Friday night. After the season was over when people had no definite plans for a Friday night, groups packed into the movie theaters or just enjoyed shootin' the breeze at a favorite meeting places such as the road. Most students tried to keep their Friday and Saturday nights to a low roar because Saturday and Sunday morn- ings required early rising for jobs and church. We all agreed that the different styles of weekends brought a needed break from school and on Monday we were ready for another week at CHS f looking for- ward to Friday ofcourse!
