Advertisers Foreword J U EDITOR As you go on to assume more and greater responsibilities each year, you will have a greater respect and appreciation for Time . You will find that Time is the most important element in tradition in the rights of the common man and in the fundamental decencies of life. ' ♦ This took has been designed to give to you, especially in years to come, a record of the time you spent in Conroe High School — time for learning, time for developing, time for recreation, time for making friends, time for pleasure, time for meditation, time for challenge, time for achievement, time for appreciating the ' • I i fine arts and time for planning for the future. We on the 1965-66 Flare Staff sincerely hope that this FLARE will help you to turn back the clock, in years to come, so that you will be closer to your present friends as you relive the time spent this year at Conroe High School. May the democratic ideals of our school live in your hearts and guide you to a better world as Time changes. : Mr. Ralph Rowe % Dedication Many people at Conroe High School spend much time at and away from school encouraging students as well as working diligently to develop skill, timing, bal- anced power for expert performing, and championship ability. Thii ii evident in the honors brought to our school. One such person who stands out because of his dedicated efforts and achieve- ments is a man who sponsors one of the largest and most outstanding organizations in our school. . Under his strict leadership, students have learned the true meaning of respect, honor, self-pride, and accomplishment. Because of the time he spends for our students and school, the way he uses his ' time, and the way he teaches others to use their time well, the 1965-66 Flare Staff, with sincere admiration and affection, dedicates the 1966 FLARE to Mr. Music Man, himself, our Tiger Band Director, MR.
