ln the process of education, people learn to react to new experiences. Their reactions are based upon their associations and past experiences. Each young and beautiful being shapes around it events that are themselves young, beautiful and happy. As we mature in life we are constantly acting with and reacting to our environment, enabling us to continue to shape events that are young, beautiful and happy. We hope that we have provided all se- niors with many happenings so that their environment has been enriched with a compre- hensive education which will help and guide the class of 1968 along the road to success. Terry W. Reber High School Principal The happenings in your curriculum should have educated you to adjust to those elements of environment that are of concern in modern life and to develop, organize and train your powers so that you may make efficient use of them. The over-all, well-rounded education that was embedded in your curriculum is the realization of the ideal personality. Team Effort Cf Administrators Creates Fine School Spirit Congratulations to the senior class upon graduation from our high school. We wish each one success and happiness in all future endeavors. We hope you will do your best in whateverthe undertaking. Steer your life course so that events will not just happeng but try defensive steering to avoid the short- comings of others. Do not dodge life--face it. Dodging happenings will not regulate them. By facing, by correcting, and by improving these happenings you will make your niche in history. Norman B. Dinger Ass't. H. S. Principal The ideal product of the educational process is a balanced personality - - - one whose body is the servant of his will carrying into effect the behests of a trained intelligence and the requirements of a scrupulous con- science. Best wished for the implementation into your life and into modern society the positive happenings that you will need to use for future prog- ress. john B. Stoltzfus Elementary Supervisor

IVIr. Rohrback Completes Sixth Year As Supervising Principal At C. W. - L. To the Class of 1968: The time line is one of the techniques used by teachers to help you keep historical eras and events in proper perspective. Future generations will probably study historical time lines showing that the years you have spent in high school are part of an era of significant social evolution. You have observed all around you such extremes of conduct, speech, dress, politics, and religion that you were not only shocked but also confused as you searched for a personal philosophy which would provide the guidelines by which you would live your lives now and in the future. Your class philosophy as expressed in the introduction to this year's WEICON indicates you have used increasingly mature judgment in rejecting extremes of all kinds in order to se- cure a well-rounded education and a high school diploma. Although it is not possible for me to know personally every member of a graduating class, I have followed with both interest and concern your growth as individuals and as a class for quite a number of years. Your faculty and administration have many times been pleased and gratified as you have risen not only to outstanding personal achievement but also to opportunities which helped to make your school one you soon call your Alma Mater . Best wishes for a successful and rewarding future! Sincerely, I 5 We-fafeeww Walter A. Rohrbach, Supervising Principal
