Pictured herein are teenagers working together as committes, enjoying the excitement of athletics, and participating in social occasions. They show a profound interest in the exciting world about them. Throughout our twelve educational, adventurous, and so- ciable years, we have prepared ourselves to step from this teenage world out into the uncertain world of tomorrow. We will always recall those joyous years at Conrad Weiser. We regretfully terminate the best part of our teenage years at our Alma Mater. In parting we wish to thank the schoolboard, members of the faailty, and parents for their devoted interest in our teenage life. To the teenage underclassmen: we hope you will have many happy moments in your new school building. Wishing you the best! Reigel Mr. Russell Weidner, Solicitor I amen 3 .szamgweizzr ,zeruucng l9rincQ1af To The Seniors of 1958: There is no period in life more wonderful than that which we oftimes refer to as the teen-age. It is the time of greatest learning-the time when every boy and girl faces new challenges and new demands. It is the time when young people must master the many requirements for successful living in an adult world. Your graduation from public school marks the threshold over which you step from a supervised and guided life into a society which will demand new things of you. Here you will be responsible for your own decisions, your own behavior and action, and your own values and attitudes. How well you have learned to make right choices will determine to some degree the happiness and success you will find in your new adult life. jamier F. Shamkweilef Suvperviring Principal Page 7 sri. x X, .-, I if , ., :Y , John B. Stoltzfus Supervisor of Elementary Education guifcbng To the Teenagers: You are the material out of which the super- structure of civilization is reared, the source of power in which the world takes pride. The more of kindness and justice you reveal, the more you bless the lives of others. The more beauty you create, the more love you liberate, the fuller you make other lives. The highest of all Arts is the Art of living well. Beyond the beauty of Sculpture, or Painting, or Music, or Poetry, or Science is the beauty of a well-spent life. Here you can be the Artists. Obedience to the command, Be ye perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect, would ally any man to God, and make the earth a Paradise. Sincere best wishes for happy and successful lives. Despite the long rugged hours of practice, the Jayvees did not have a very success- ful basketball season for Conrad Weiser this year. After school each evening the boys could be seen practicing to improve their weak points under the direction of Coach Hess. There have been a few casualties, but they displayed fine sportsmanship throughout the season. Even though our victories were few, we are sure of great basketball players in the future. We want to thank Coach Hess and all his team for the effort shown in represent- ing our school. Tell 'em Coach. Page 61 if Shirley Spud B we Ho Q my Wolfskill -J I T Linda ..... After many hard hours of practice, the great day arrives when the selected few are chosen. After the decision has been made, many hours of concen- trated practice, which are continued throughout the school term, are spent learning the arm motions, co- ordination, and various jumps.
