P The senior band activities for the year in- cluded: a Christmas concert, a spring concert, and parades at the various communities include ing a large parade at Ephrata. The organiza- tion also sent participants to county, district, and state festivals. The number ol participants exceeded all previous attempts. Those selected lor county band numbered 28, tor county or- chestra 8, those tor district orchestra 2, district band 6, state band 2, and state orchestra l. Concerts were well received by large audi- ences. Some of the soloists were Annetta Kerr, Terry Brossman, Winitred Garret, Dale Adams Monica Miller, Clyde Ebersole, and Ronald Whitman. Othcers of the band are: President, James Diehm, Vice-President, Clyde Ebersole, and Secretary Linda Eckert. Monica Miller and Ja- nice l-later are Librarians.
