an l New Years came rn wrth the hope that the war would be over th1s year We got the day off but only wtth the ldea that we would have to make 1t up on some Saturday rn the future an 8 Wlth New Years rn the a1r the lunror Hop was put on an 15 Today of all days th1s rs the one that IS most dreaded Semester Exams By the way school was called oft 1n the afternoon on account of the worst blrzzard rn these parts for several years an 22 By far the best dance of the school year was put on by the Yell Squad th1s evenmg It was a Co ed dance whlch was somethlng dlfferent You cant tell me that these women arent wolves or should that be wolver1nes7 an 26 Second of the assembly programs was put on by the lumors lt was one of these one act plays wrth screams chrlls and thrrlls Feb 5 The Drarnatrc Club entertalned the assembly wrth a one act play Feb 6 Conrad Journeyed to Brady for the frrst basketball game of the year Yes we won Feb 13 Brady came to Conrad for a return engagement thls evemng They had revenge rn therr eyes Yes we dldnt w1n Feb 19 Smartrng from last week s defeat Conrad drdnt let up once rn the game wrth Valrer No we dldnt lose them Feb 26 28 Conrad partrcrpated rn the D1str1ct Tournament at Shelby By the way we got slxth place as usual March 6 An amateur program by the Sophomores was a huge success ln the evemng the band sponsored a concert After the concert the students were favored by a dance from the Latrn Club March 19 The last of the assembly programs was a varlety show by Senlors Ouchl that quartet ln the evenmg the rough necks C C Clubl had therr annual utter bug dance Aprll 3 For the frrst trme rn school hlstory the Iunrors presented a play The play fBelat1ves by Affectronl was pretty good conslderrng everythmg Aprrl 9 Another band and Glee Club concert was enloyed by everyone Apnl 16 What' another Co ed Prom Oh' those gals May l Due to war restrrctron the Iunror Prom wasnt quxte as lavtsh as rn the past But all rn all we certatnly had a mce ttme May 3 The lun1ors and Sentors got together for one last stampede at the Iun1orSen1or Banquet May l4 Tontght rs the ntght Everybody ts runnrng around wrth forntals or caps and gowns on Everyone ts so excrted May 15 Last day of school C-oodloye CHS t has been a great and glonous four years l . . l . . l ' .
