Although the Cowboys were ragged at times, they gave evidence of developing into a powerful aggregation, The Dutton boys tried hard but couldn't stop the Conrad power and were defeated 47-0. Whitefish Wins a Close One Sept. 20 ln the first meeting between the Conrad and Vtlhitefish teams the Cowboys were defeated 9-7. Neither team was able to show much in the way of offense because of the soggy turf, Whitefish scored in the first auarter on some povr erful offftackle smashes and the Cowboys came right back and scored on a long pass from Aaberge to Fowler to tie the score. A blocked punt gave White- fish two more points and the ball game.
