Ill cy cmoryr Cecil ale rowri April 15, 1932 - May 31, 1978 . . FOR HE IS PROFITABLE . . . . . . bring John Mark ... HE IS PROFITABLE ... Sum up a man ' s life in a few words? Impossible! Write clever words or coy phrases with cute double meanings? Not with men ' s lives like Dale ' s. I prefer to use the langTiage of the Scriptures, for in them we find the true meaning of his life and dedication. . . . HE IS PROFITABLE . . . , said the Apostle. Could more be said? Dale was my friend, classmate, ministerial colleage, and missionary fellow laborer. To think of him as being gone is unthinkable. Men of Dale ' s caliber and faith don ' t die, they live on! Yes, in hundreds of lives and ministries, for he has multiplied himself in others, and in so doing, lives on . . . through his sons, saints whom he pastored, converts of the mission field, and in the lives of others who had the joy of walking shoulder to shoulder with him. Yes ... he lives on. So our Lord chose to call our Brother to higher service. It must so be that the Lord Jesus is saying, ... bring me DALE BROWN ... HE IS PROFITABLE! MISSIONARY yWAYNE NIGH Dale Brown graduated from CBC in May, 1954, as a member of the pioneer graduating class. After twenty-four years of pastoral and mis- sionary service, he was promoted to glory while pioneering a Bible school in Guatemala, Central America. His son, Clayton, graduated from CBC in 1976 and now serves on its faculty. His second son, Carl, graduates with CBC ' s 25th Senior Class on June 10, 1978. Truly his life has been reproduced in his own sons and in the hundreds of others whom he has taught.
