First Year Students Arrive for Training ConQUerorS Bible College was born in a miracle, and it continues to move forward as a miracle. In saying this we are not discounting the vision and work of godly men who, laboring with God, have made CBC what it is today. We are merely recognizing the fact that God has been sovereign in it all, and without Him we could not have witnessed the unfolding miracle of His grace and concern throughout these 25 years of CBC history. When Brother E. G. Moyer located the site on which CBC still functions, he probably did not visualize the value of the property rising to about 30 times its original price in these 25 years. And, as the school continues to move forward, we must still trust God for the mira- culous. Although we endeavor to exercise good judgment as His stewards, we still o ften find too much of (he month left at the end of our resources, and we must go to God in prayer and ask Him to help us meet the staff salaries and obligations. Then in little ways and big ways, He does the miraculous and we realize that He is concerned with what is going on at 10838 N. Lombard. Yes, there have been moments of anxiety and pressure, and the messengers of Satan have been present to buffet us as they have made their forecasts of defeat and death, but His grace has been sufficient and we can recount 25 years of God ' s faithfulness. And the miracles have not all been in the material provisions. Hundreds of young men and women who have studied and trained here have responded to the voice of God and are lab- oring in the farflung harvest fields. In the Northwest alone, thirty percent of the current pastors are alumni of CBC. Of the missionaries now under appointment by the UPC I, twenty-three were trained here. And I couldn ' t begin to tell of the miracles of transformed lives as a result of the work of the Holy Spirit in lives on the CBC campus.
