mWW l CBC ' s first Overseas Seminar was conducted in The Schloss, in Wiesbaden, West Germany. This MISSIONS SEMINAR, designed to make missions realistic, was hosted by Missionary Wayne Nigh. The classes on the many aspects of missionary in- volvement exposed the seminar students to the true nature of foreign missions. The church services and tours provided a personal feel of the European culture. Between thirty and forty people participated in the seminar activities. These included President John Klemin and several students from CBC, friends from various areas of the Northwest and Alaska, as well as those from the European area. Mission- ary Tom O ' Daniel and his family came from Ghana, West Africa, to participate in the seminar and meet with friends from CBC, his alma mater. PAGE SPONSORED BY: Rev. Mrs. E. G. On April 22, the Student Christian Education Association sponsored the first annual Puppet Seminar. Christian education workers from Washington, Idaho and Oregon were invited to Look . . . Laugh. . . Learn. Look. . . at student puppet productions, Laugh. .. at themselves and others as they pi-acticed with professional pup- pets, Learn. ..fromexperienced and enthusias- tic teachers. The four-hour session included two student puppet productions, concentrated instruction in puppetry and lots of audience participation.
