Senior Class Prophet: Dear Miss Rutledge: I just thought l'd better write and tell you how my journey around the world is going. It was late in the afternoon as I traveled through the deep dark jungles ofAfrica. In the distance I heard the sound of drums coming from a tribe of Pigmies. Their leader was none other than Fred Sayre. Fred is married to the former chief's daughter, Debbie McGinnis. I was going to go over and say hi, but as I looked through the bushes, I saw that someone was being burned at the stake. Sure enough, it was Mike Fierbaugh. I finally decided to go over to set my curiosity at ease, and Fred ran up to greet me, I think! He told me that Mike was flirting with Deb, and he decided to put an end to him. He asked me how long I planned to stay, and I told him that I was on a world tour. My next stop was to be Saudi Arabia. Fred asked me to stay that night, and in the morning he would call Connor's Cab Service to have Seth pick me up in his new jeep. The next morning Seth took me to the nearest restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant is known as Booth's Barn, owned and operated by Linda Booth. After breakfast Seth and I stopped to get gas at Mendenha1l's Gasoline and Machinery Equipment which is operated by Lynn Mendenhall. As we headed for the airport, I saw that Bill Johnson was owner of the plane. I told him I was on my way to Saudi Arabia. He told me I had better discuss that with the pilot, Carl Mehaffey. Good Grief! Hold on to your seats! Sitting behind me on the plane was Victor Anderson. He told me that he was on his way to his inauguration to the presidency of Alcoholics Anon- ymous. He said he was to be sworn in by last year's president, Dennis Newell. Asl was leafing through a magazine entitled DRIVE IT ORJUNK IT, I noticed that Mike Monigold was the editor, and Debbie Wilson, his assistant. I put Mike's magazine down and pick up another one called FANTASIES FOR FEMALES. The editor is Denise Zimmerman and Anna Mae Tinney, her assist- ant. As the stewardess' voice came over the public address system, I recognized that the voice belonged to Bev Bevans. She said we were flying over some famous sights. Right below us was the famous factory where all the world's most beautiful crystal chandeliers were made. It is owned by Crystal Beamer. Her husband, Don, owns the world's largest plantation next to the factory. To the right we saw the Sterling Silver Corporation, owned by Fred Sterling. To the left of us was Bonnie Coffy's Coffee Plantation. She made a trade out of her name!

Later we landed at the International Truck 85 Plane Landing. The owner, Kevin Love, ran out to greet us. He suggested that I have dinner at Steve's Steak House two miles up the road. It is owned by Steve Bowling. While I was eating dinner, Debbie Craig, Dianne Miller, and Kevin Hunt came in and talked to me. Dianne informed me that they are known as Miller's Mighty Mod Squad, secret agents for the FBI. They are now working on a case in which things are being smuggled across the border. Two of the suspects are Karen Latimer and Keith Hunt, Kevin's beloved brother. They are also working on a case of Hell's Hondas, a motorcycle gang with the leader being Jay Moreland. His old lady, Kathy Chambers, is a member as are Mickey Berg and Mark Colin. They are suspected of disturbing the peace. Later Steve came out front and announced that he had entertainment set up. Deana Shultz and Rindy Dunfee did a song and dance routine, followed by the tap dancing of Sheila and Jim Meek. Affter the entertainment was over, I left to go sightseeing. As I traveled down the freeway, I saw an exit to a place called the Arch. I wanted to kill time, and I took the exit and found that Karen Lee was the owner, and Kathy Beckley works for her. She asked me to sit and chat for awhile, and I did. I found out that Rusty Lee is a marriage counselor and Judi Tripp is his most frequent client. He told me that the only thing to do around here is to go to Rhonda's Pub run by Rhonda Price. Her employees are none other than Penny Alsept and lane Fish. As l was growing tired, l decided to find a hotel in which to spend the night. Across the street I saw a place called Cozy Corner. As I started to cross the street, a car almost hit me, and you will never guess who was driving - Toger Warner! As I finally reached the hotel, I saw that Terry Thomas and Rick Cummings went into partnership running the hotel. Jerry Brown was the matre'd and Barbie Millhorn, the hostess. I went up into my room and was unpacking my clothes when I heard a noise outside. I decided to see what was going on, and I opened the window. You would never guess who was being chased down the street - Candy Evans! She was being chased by none other than Don Kolm. Well Barb, I had better go. I have a big day ahead of me tomorrow. Your friend , Kathy Shu ss
