Our Junior year was a busy one. we sold candy at noon, and refresh- ments at all our hom football and basketball games. ne of the high- lights of the year was the receiving of our class rings. we also had the pleasure and problems of giving the Seniors what we thought was a very nice prom, choosing NEvening in Parish as our theme. The class sponsors who helped us were Mrs. Kammeyer and Mr. McCroskey. At last we are in our Senior year. Among the exciting events, was our homecoming dance after our football game with Scio, cf which Charlene Hamilton was the reigning Queen, with Pauline Colin as her Senior Attend- ant. we also have had several money-making projects this year. We had a paper drive through our neighboring communities, and we sold magazines and Christmas cards before the holidays. After the holidays it was back to more studies. During the basketball season, we had charge of the coat-check at the games. February brought Valentine's Day, and we planned a nQuecn-of-Heartsn Ihnce. Patsy Herbert was chosen Queen, and Alberta Carr was her Senior Attendant. At this writing we are looking forward to the J. Sr Prom, Baccalaureate, Our Senior trip, and then commencement, when these twelve, long, but never the less fun, years will be over CLASS COLORS Navy Blue and White CLASS FLOWER White Mums CLASS MOTTO Not at the top, but climbing Class Will We, the class of 1957, being of uncertain minds, but active bodies, do declare this to be our last will and testament the Board of Education we leave our sincere thanks for all their efforts our behalf Mr Jeffers Mr Everett Mrs Everett- wutrich Allen Irwin- r Deckman Mr Pfieffer Fitzpatrick Pepper Mrs Mrs Mrs Kammeyer Mr To the Juniors To the Sophomores To the Fresh en NcCroskey a 1957 cadillac to replace last year's helicopter the best of our good behavior traits our money making ability so she'll have more money to count a magic baton to wave the sweetest music from every horn all of our golden tones a beautiful new coffee cup, always filled our appreciation for a very successful year in sP0Tt5 all future students the best of our scientific knowledge autographed copies o Ll the books we write all our favorite dishes a bronze plaque for courage and patience with her Senior Home Ec class our special skills with farm implements all our grown up traits a good supply of aspirin for their teachers good luck and good times all through school 50-. l To in .
