No other positit on eampus is as demanding or requires as muf ofa man as that of president and leader. All fir decisions whieh affect the college in the prese and for the future fall on the shoulders of number-one representative. The aeeomplis ment of sueh tasks at Connors is provided by I Melvin Self. The president. in his fifth year, h moved the institution forward with foresight a positive leadership. Four new technical pi grams have been added to the eurrieulum in t past two vears. These new programs and othf are reeent advances at CSC which have bros ened the seope of the junior college to inelu the kind of teehnieal studies which will bet serve the entire community. Under Dr. Sel tenure. enrolment has soared over one-hundr percent in the past five years.
