CONNORS COLLEGIAN Connors Collegian, a monthly publication on the campus began its 29th year under the direction of Mr. C. E. Montgomery. THE STUDENT SENATE The executive officers of the Student Senate are Paula Vanhooser, Parliamentarian; Phyllis Hines, Secretary-Treasurer; Harley Reno, President; and Pat Garvin, Vice-President. The Connors Student Senate is composed of representatives from each class and active organiza- tions on the campus. The Senate was established for the purpose of co-ordinating the various student activities and to act as a liaison group between the college administration, the faculty, and the student body. THE N EWMAN CLUB The Newman Club is an organization for Catholic Students, attending Connors, which was formed this year. There are twelve active members: Rosa Lee Martin, Jane Kloeckler, Jane Synar, Miss Anna Belle Catlin, sponsor; Eugene Buchanan, Earl Strebeck, Pedro Pantoja, Bill Thornhill, In Chol Lim, and Johnny Shawn.
