Presidenfs Message GREETINGS T0 YOU, the young men and women who have made up this year's student body. I sincerely believe this has been one of our best years. More and more of our young people are seeking the benefits of education beyond the high school. The feeling of must for education at the junior college level is ever strengthening. All over our country the institutions of high- er learning have felt the impact of increasing enrolments. Con- nors has been no exception in this trend. We are glad you have come to us for your training. Your faculty considers it a privilege to have served you. The co- operation of students and faculty has been most gratifying and through your cooperative efforts we have been able to make progress in our program of service to the young people of our state. I hope you can review your part in this year's effort with satisfaction. Congratulations to our graduates and a sincere invitation to our freshmen to study with us in 1957 and 1958. Dean 's Greeting CERTAINLY CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Miss Mar- shall and the Con-Rah staff for producing this beautiful 1957 yearbook. It's quite an understatement simply to say, Getting out an annual is a big job. It is a very big job, and each per- son who worked on it is to be commended for giving his time and talents so generously. This edition of the Con-Rah faithfully records the history of your school life from September, 1956, to May 24, 1957. It gives the highlights of the year in picture and in story. Record- ed here are the unforgettable thrills of athletic contests, the fun at student mixers and formal dances. Pictures of cherished friends look out at you from almost every page. You will enjoy looking at this yearbook now, but it will be doubly interesting to you as the years go by. Ten, twenty, thirty years from now you'll derive a great deal of happiness DUI ofturning the pages of your 1957 Con-Rah and travelling down Memory Lane with Connors friends. I hope that you'll remember your pleasant experiences at Connors and that you'll speedily forget the unpleasant ones. All in all, it seems to me to have been a wonderful school yearg I hope that you'll remember it that way, too. As you leave the Connors campus, I wish each of you the very best of everything that life has to offer. ' Sincerely, O A. B. Childress Dean of the College Sincerely, jacob johnson President
