CONNER STUDENTS GET RECOGNIZED With each year comes old and new customs. This year, our new principal Mr. Dill Arnold has come up with the idea of Student of the Week for those students who go above and beyond the call of duty. Each week at Conner, students who work exceptionally hard can be nominated for Stu- dent of the Week by a fellow student or teach- er. At the end of the week, all nominations are taken in and a committee of teachers and guid- ance counselors decide who the next Student of the Week will be. Once you are nominated for this position your accomplishments will be looked at each week until you are voted in for this honor. The lucky student who is picked as Student of the Week receives a certificate for their achievements, an Arby's and Frisch's cou- pon, their picture put in the school hall, and their name announced over the intercom.
