MUSCLES As the tension in the crowd builds, so does the excitement ond onticipotion in each of the contestants. Finally the announcer pronounces Jock Grigson os the new Mr. Teenage Northern Ky. If anyone deserves this title, Jock Grigson does. He works out QVi hours o day, 6 days o week with his talented and devoted training coach. This was Jack's first competition. It was held at Ludlow high school on Jan. 29, 1980. Along with the title of Mr. Teenage Northern Ky., Jack also came home with a beautiful 2'A foot tro- phy. People often ask Jack how he became inter- ested in body-building. Simply enough, he saw pictures of body-builders in books and decided that he wanted to look like them. Also, because his friends told him that he wouldn't amount to anything, he worked harder at it just to prove them wrong. One might think that body-building takes up so much of his time that he wouldn't have room for anything else. Though Jack makes it clear that body-building is his main priority, he does find time to hunt and trap. Jack is striving to win the title Mr. Cincinnatti, and to someday also win Mr. America. With the progress he's making, one wouldn’t be sur- prized if he did.
