The gome wos led by Senior Peso Beocom, who hod 19 points. The gome was outstanding for rhe hot shooting Cougars defeated rhe eventual regional champion Bluebirds In rhe District Tournament, rhe Cou- gars faced rhe 1 seed Lloyd High School. Lloyd ended rhe Cougars season early in defeating rhe Cougars by o score of 43-70 This year is something I'l olwoys remember. Especially rhe gome with Highlands, where we 0 ployed exceptionally well Thor's one thing I wonred to do oil year, since they bear us lost year. The Highland’s game was very thrilling to me because I really wanted to win this one. I made 10 points during rhe 1st quarter. Doug Maher Basketball I'll olwoys remember rhe last play of my high school career when I blocked rhe shot of Lloyd's 6'5 Kunkel in rhe third quarter of our District game.
