Two of the Cougar's starters were nor able to moke the tour- nament, ond the Cougars were defeat- ed, placing 4rh in the tournament. At the Awards Banquet Donna Kor- losky ond Melisso Spore received awards for being outstanding players. Donna also won the boosters award for Most Valuable Player, another for best all- around player, ond mode the All-Region ream. On the JV ream, Rhonda Gouge won on oword for most improved play- er.
