Amid twinkling stars and candle- light at the Hanford House, the Senior Class presented their 1973 Senior Ball Royalty. 1972 Queen Marcie Pettis appeared to crown the new Queen Carol Matsumura. The theme Dancing in the Moonlight in silver and blue made an enchanting evening for the Seniors.

5 3 The contestants during interviews, and talent presentation. Hearts of Love This year's Fall Festival started off with a bang when Miss Molly Calfee was crowned as the new Miss North Franklin. Her two reigning princesses are, first runner-up Miss Carolyn Krug, and second runner-up Miss Debra Chase. The girls were judged on scholastic ability, talent, poise, personality, and physical fit- ness. Then Molly advanced to the Washington Junior Miss Pageant where she represented the North Franklin District and obtained second rimner-up to the new Washington Jun- ior Miss, which is the farthest any Miss North Franklin has gone. We are all extremely proud of her. The royalty will be appearing in 16 pa- rades throughout the Northwest and Canada on the float themed Hearts of Love .
