Student Council lnitiates Facelift Behind the initiative and concern of President Jim Brock, the Student Council put everything together to bring about a change in the appear- ance and attitude of C. H. S. Sometimes this meant working after school and on weekends. The most noticeable projects were the repainting of hall lockers and the addition of vending machines. But new ideas were always emerg- ing at student council meetings and from them came: a tape player for the student center, partial graveling on back school roads, more litter barrels, work on a student handbook, exchange student priogram, a. lounge area to be included in the new enclosed gym area, reconsider- ation of a fourth wrestling cheerleader in 1974-7 5 a.nd alot, lot more.
