S-P-I+R-I-T Among the many activities Pep Club sponsored was Homecoming Week and also the dance that followed the exciting and fun-filled' spirit-booster week. The Pep Club also sponsored two sport banquetsg one cooked by domestic-minded members of the organization. A welcome addition to the Pep Club's duties was the assignment of pep pals from the various sports. Lockers were stocked with homebaked 5 goodies and the best of wishes. Instrumental in the success of the club were its officers, requirementlchairmen, concession chairmen and especially its president, Sandy Sackmann and advisor, Mrs. John Musser. Singing and Swinging The Swing Choir and the Stage Band are hard working groups dedicated to music and developing their special talents, but they have fun, too, and that's why they spend noon hours and class time practicing. The Swing Choir entertained at city banquets and jun- ior high concerts as well as adding their special touch to the high school concerts. The Stage Band was in- vited to play for Kahlotus' Senior Ball and worked Hard to rebuild the group in anticipation of returning to stage band competition. The Swing Choir's step towards bigger and better sounds was the purchase of a new sound system.
