Queen Cheryl and King Jamie descend the coronation throne. vy The entrance to the dance floor was kept busy as many couples enjoyed the atmo- of a Paper Moon. fAbove and lefty Pep club members were working all day to create a nostalgic room with streamers and stars.

Ra yalty Reigns On A Paper Moon Cheryl Caraway and Jamie Person were selected to head the Homecoming Week roy- alty. Coronation was held on Monday and members of the court were presented in the spirit parade, at half-time ceremonies and at the Pep Club-C Club sponsored homecoming dance. Others selected to reign for the week were Suzie Miller and Carlos Cano, senior classg Suzy Wyatt and Benny Benavides, junior classg and Kathy Olson and Troy Bean, sophomore class. Theme for the dance was Paper Moon and the theme song was Rhapsody in Blue. Decorations featured an antique roadster and former homecoming royalty were honored. 14

ll Cheaper By The Dozen Students became actors, directors, propmen, make- up men, wardrobers, prompters, and advaneemen to produce the theatrical highlight of the year, Cheaper By The Dozen. The group Worked as a class in the initial stages learning the fundamentals of play pro- duction under the direction of Mr. John Bussey. Il Chuck Law played the efficiency-minded father of ten rehea.ded children played by Jodi Hudlow, Lynnette Lee, Eileen McGary, Kriste Flansburg 1Sarah Loeberj, Debbie Stanley, Mark Hilmes, Jim Roberts, Benny Benavides and Stuart Rush. Other cast mem- bers were Jim McBride, Steve Braddock, Casey Warner, Renee Hollibaugh, and Tim Timmons. Behind the scenes were: Luvy Benavides and Josie Strong, student directorsg Joanie Hulse, Suzie Wyatt, Bev Fehrenbacher, Debbie Bowns, Carol Williams, Sarah Loeber, Bill Hale and various members of the acting crew who worked on preparation and production. Pictures of the final performance were unavailable, but actors are shown here at one of their night rehearsals.
