Classes P u I I Together or Homecoming Week Homecoming activities kicked off with the gir1's boot race and boy's egg toss on Monday produced the most spi- rited week of the school year and end- ed in the long awaited upset of arch-rival Colfax. Classes proved their individual spir- it with separate pep assemblies that out-yelled, out-classed and out-did any others. Juniors won the pep as- sembly competition and nosed out the sophomores for the Spirit banner. Seniors were third in the week long competition and freshmen, fourth.

Ra yalty Reigns On A Paper Moon Cheryl Caraway and Jamie Person were selected to head the Homecoming Week roy- alty. Coronation was held on Monday and members of the court were presented in the spirit parade, at half-time ceremonies and at the Pep Club-C Club sponsored homecoming dance. Others selected to reign for the week were Suzie Miller and Carlos Cano, senior classg Suzy Wyatt and Benny Benavides, junior classg and Kathy Olson and Troy Bean, sophomore class. Theme for the dance was Paper Moon and the theme song was Rhapsody in Blue. Decorations featured an antique roadster and former homecoming royalty were honored. 14
