Throughout our col- lege careers, Mr. Ames has been with us, supporting our individual and joint endeavors. He has worked diligently on fund raising efforts in order to better our institution. In the short time that we have been at Connecticut College, Mr. Ames has proven himself many times, as is evident in all of the improvements that have been made here. His good nature and his ever-present smile that can be seen around campus at all times have certainly brightened everyone's college career and will be missed. It is with great delight that we have declared Oakes Ames an honorary member of the class of 1988 and we wish him only happiness in the future. Good luck, Mr. Ames, and thank you. ..
