DEDICATION Hi, honey, how are my kids today? is the familiar greeting delivered by one of Connecticut College's unsung heroes. The greeting belongs to Mrs. Mayme Johann, known affectionately as Mrs. Jo, who is the receptionist behind the main desk at Crozier-Williams. Her frequent smiling glances and raised eyebrows greet us on our trips in and out of the Snackshop, the locker room, and the campus bar, and her eagle eye is always on the lookout for new faces and mischief. Mrs. Jo's terrific sense of humor and obvious love for the student body help more students sort out the crises of college life than do many of the more orthodox channels. She radiates the warmth of memories of home and is referred to as Ma by her family of students. She has, however. her own share of wild tales which cause students to break up with peals of laughter and to impulsively reach over and plant a kiss on her cheek. She leaves one with a feeling of wholesome security, surprisingly appreciated in our atmosphere of newly acquired freedom. Mrs. Jo is a part of the community whose devotion to her 'kids makes life at Conn a little more pleasant. We, therefore, dedicate this yearbook to her for her vitality and overwhelming concern for the students here,
