This is the record of experiences shared by the Class of 1958 during four years at Connecticut College. As the years pass, this volume may become more humorous, perhaps more sentimental in some of its aspects. Fashion and custom will see to that. But beneath these inevitable superficial changes we hope that for all of the Class there will be some more substantial memories recorded here which will remind of the pleasures of friendship and the excitement of true learning. Then this volume will become increasingly not a record of the past and youthful exploits, but the foundation of the future on which the good life we wish for all of you was built.
