Fall turns into winter, winter into spring, and the passing of time brings happiness mixed with sadness. So there is sadness in saying good-bye to our retiring professors, sadness in the last hand- shake, in the flight of another year. But more than sadness there is happinessin the moments that we have shared, in the years that they have resolved our doubts and dispelled our fears, in the uncounted hours that they have nourished our knowledge, and in the fact that we are not really saying good-bye, for they will always be with us in our memories. 29
