While the latter is not under the gym department, an increasing number of students take to the sky , and an Aviation Club has been formed. Its activi- ties include the sponsoring of trips and excursions, joint participation in sports with Dartmouth and Yale, pic- nics in Buck Lodge, skating on the Arboretum lake tbruises for the un- waryH , and, with the finishing of the Spaghetti ankles WouId-be Kanonen Indoor discussion promotes outdoor action last Mid-year exam, the annual CCOC trip to North Conway for a weekend of snowplows . . . and Chris- ties for some. Hannes Schneider in- troduces the bravest of us to his Arl- berg technique, and to the cries of Bend those knees or I'll break 'em from an anguished instructor, we learn that there's more to skiing than we thought. . .we learn to talkski- ing even though our performance on slope and trail leaves something to be desired . . . we learn that Gestapo agents couldn't pry waxing secrets from some experts.
