The job: foremostfin our minds is our purpose here and hereafter. College, with all itsfconnotations of good living, represents a stage in which we develpp an increased sensitivity to responsibility. More that that, in Bur intellectual and social training, we absorb an awareness of the Bdjustments we must make in order to fulfil our next job in the bigger world beyond the campus. The job' is a slogan of the day in which we live, a time in which international upheaval has erased a portion of national apathy, and given us a vigorous conception of what there is to be done. College has given time in which to muster our strengchs and overcome our weaknesses in order to become a vital part of a vital world. May we not forget thesc years of training. May we not forget the importance of community living and cooperative effort. May we rcmcmbcr.through the years which lie ahead, the ideals and prin- ciples which we so wholeheartedly supported here. We have worked and played together; we have had heartaches and fun. Let the motto in our hearts and the song on our lips always be, A Job ... Well Done.

Freshman fears of faculty ferocities faded with the first classes. As we slowly recovered and oriented ourselves, we found that they were leading us toward the job, our job.
