The annual staff would like to set aside this page in memory of Cindy Younger. Cindy was killed in a car a dent, September 5, 1969, on her way home for the we end from dental technician school in Houston. Cindy's death was a serious blow to all her friends. Everyone who had ever been touched by Cindy's love of life was deeply hurt by this tragedy. From the time Cindy graduated from Connally in 1969, she was learning to ac- cept lifels responsibilities which was one of her goals. Cynthia Cloud Younger Q CONNALLY A place different to each of us, yet one which holds a common core of meaning to all who know it well. A place which, in four years, becomes more than a school, it becomes a way oflife, and ofliving. lt is a life . . . ofjoy in achievement, in victory, in friendship . . . of struggle for grades, for honor, for recognition . . . of excitement in football, in baseball, in homecoming An annual, like a diary, is a record of things past. In this record of the past year, there is also the opportunity to show the rest of the world what a really great high school we have. '
